With Veterans Day 2022 less than a week away, it’s the perfect time to take a look at some of the food deals and freebies available to veterans and active members of the military on Friday, November 11. Here are a few to consider.
BJ’s
On Friday, November 11, veterans who dine-in can get a free Dr. Pepper beverage with their complimentary meal from a select menu. The menu includes dishes like: the Bacon-Guacamole Deluxe Burger, Deep Dish Ziti, Jumbo Spaghetti and Meatballs, Parmesan-Crusted Chicken, Grilled Chicken Alfredo, and BJ’s Classic Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
California Pizza Kitchen
On Friday, November 11, active and retired military members who dine in and show proof of service can get a complimentary entree and beverage. All veterans will also receive a buy-one-get-one free voucher redeemable for any pizza, pasta, or salad from November 12-21.

On Friday, November 11, any active and retired military guests who show a valid military ID can get a free 20oz smoothie at select locations.
Texas Roadhouse
On November 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Veterans can drive into the parking lot of their closest Texas Roadhouse and pick up a meal voucher with a valid military ID or proof of service.
TGI Fridays
On Friday, November 11 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. veterans and active duty military personnel who present a valid military ID and dine-in at participating locations can receive a free meal from the following selections:
- Cheeseburger with Seasoned Fries
- Crispy Chicken Fingers with Seasoned Fries and Coleslaw
- 6 oz. Center-Cut Sirloin with Mashed Potatoes and Garlic-Butter Broccoli
- Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken
Tax and gratuity isn’t included, and this deal isn’t valid with any other offer, discount, or promotion. It’s also not valid for online, take-out, or delivery orders.
Wendy’s
On Friday, November 11 from 6:30 – 10:30 a.m., veterans and active members of the U.S. military can get a free breakfast combo offer with valid military ID or a Veterans Advantage card. The free breakfast combo includes a coffee or carbonated soft drink, breakfast sandwich, and seasoned potatoes. A premium beverage upgrade is an additional charge. This can’t be combined with other offers, and isn’t valid for digital or delivery orders.
