PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Interstate 205 is partially blocked Tuesday morning after a crash left a semi truck on its side, authorities said.
Portland Fire & Rescue said crews responded to the crash on I-205 at Powell, which was blocking traffic in both directions. One lane in each direction has since opened.
According to officials, the semi truck and another car were involved in the crash, and the truck rolled through the center median.
Police investigators said they believe the truck lost control after being hit by a DUII driver.
Extended delays are expected throughout the morning, the Oregon Department of Transportation said, and drivers are advised to take an alternate route.
