As fires continue to devastate parts of Los Angeles, the need for community support has never been greater. Families and individuals are being displaced, left in urgent need of essentials.
Denim, a durable and versatile clothing item, is among the most requested items by those affected. That’s why Ella and I are partnering up and launching The Denim Drive, a special initiative to support NCJW LA (National Council of Jewish Women Los Angeles) and provide essential items to those in need.
Why Denim?
Denim is more than just a fashion staple—it’s functional, sturdy, and timeless. For those without a consistent home or access to adequate clothing, a good pair of jeans can provide warmth, durability, and comfort.
By donating your gently used denim, you can make a real difference in someone’s life. Denim meets a practical need while also offering a sense of dignity to those who receive it.
How You Can Help
Starting January 13th and running through February 10th, we’re calling on families, friends, and communities across the country to join The Denim Drive. It’s simple to participate:
1. Check Your Closet: Look for gently used jeans or denim items that are in good condition. Please ensure donations are wearable and clean—no ripped, stained, or unwearable items. This ensures the donations meet the needs of those receiving them.
2. Pack and Ship: Mail your donations to our designated P.O. Box. Once received, the denim will be collected and distributed directly to NCJW LA.
