Norfolk named among best places in the WORLD to visit this summer

Travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler has released a list of the best destinations to visit in August.

Known for its coastline, Norfolk is listed alongside 29 other must-visit destinations for holidaymakers including the French Riviera and Koh Samui in Thailand.

Holidaymakers can enjoy the traditional Victorian pier in Cromer (Image: Newsquest) Travel writer Connor Sturges said those visiting Norfolk can “come for a party but stay for one of the UK’s very best summer getaways”.

He suggested partying away at the Houghton Festival, sipping North Sea Coffee along Cromer Pier,  visiting the sand dunes at Horsey and Winterton and taking a boat out on the Broads. 

The Harper hotel in Langham, which became one of the first in the country to achieve Michelin Key status last year, was recommended as a place to stay when visiting Norfolk.
