Inflation has hit us hard this year, and so far, things aren’t looking great for 2023. No, buying some fast food in order to get more fast food for free probably isn’t going to fix things, but thanks to Wendy’s, you can try it out and see what happens. Here’s what to know.
How to get a free Frosty every day for a year
It’s now November, which means that for the next two months, you can purchase a Wendy’s Frosty Key Tag for $2. This will give you the opportunity to get a Jr. Frosty for free with any other purchase at Wendy’s. And did we mention that the Key Tag is good for an entire year?
This means that hypothetically, if you bought at least one thing at Wendy’s every day (which, by the way, we’re not recommending), you could end the year with 365 free Jr. Frosty treats.
You can purchase a Wendy’s Frosty Key Tag at any of the chain’s restaurants (including via the drive-thru), as well as through their website or app (under the “Give Something Back” menu), and have the choice of either a physical tag that can go on your keychain, or a digital tag that you can access via the app.
G/O Media may get a commission
If you do most of your ordering via the app, you’re going to want to buy a digital tag: Physical tags can only be used when ordering in person. And though you’re limited to one free Jr. Frosty per key tag per visit, according to the Wendy’s website, if you have a digital tag, the offer reloads about an hour after you redeem it in the app.
Frosty Key Tags purchased in November or December 2022 will expire on December 31, 2023.
